Clock Work Angel Book Review
When Tessa Gray receives a letter written to her by her brother, she embarks on a journey to England. But when she arrives, she is taken away by two fiercesome and evil ladies who tell her about her secret gift. Tessa also discovers along her many battles, that her brother was taken away by a shady organization but is he really who he says he is?
Clock Work Angel by Cassandra Clare is a thrill-seeking novel exploring areas of fantasy, especially with its magic and demons spoken about all through the book. She uses a clever assortment of words throughout the novel that keeps the reader engaged and wanting to know more. Her brilliant use of language is one of the many reasons why this book is so enjoyable to its audience.
The plot in Clock Work Angel is very well put together and taps into reality and fantasy at the same time. I truly think that this book deserves more recognition because it’s such a spellbinding read I would definitely recommend for ages 10+. Cassandra Clare really outdid herself with this novel, but if you want to read more, it’s also part of a trilogy (Clock Work Prince and Clock Work Princess). I rate this a 5 out of 5 🙂
